We have heard from everyone who knows anything about car seats that Britax are the best brand. Thanks to a post on the Kyrgyzstan Yahoo Group I learned that they go on sale twice a year, so we were able to buy one at a significant discount with no shipping or tax. It seemed too good a deal to pass up! We did our first ever car seat research and placed our order.
Hopefully the new little baby seat of ours will not have to sit empty in the garage for too long. Doing something like buying a car seat makes all of this seem "real". Right now it just feels like something we talk about but soon enough we'll be fastening a little one into our shiny new car seat!
